she's home now.

i was looking at these pictures this morning, some sappy song playing in the background with my thoughts of seeing amanda last night (she was the happiest i had seen her in a loooooong, long time) at the hospital all intertwined and i could not help but shed some tears... i am so proud of her.
she has been fighting for 3 years now and not taking no for an answer. she's an inspiration and a prime example of why people should trust themselves, she knew what was up but only because she listened.
a serious lesson to us all...
